My grinder died mid-pour and the backup was worse
My burr grinder seized up yesterday at 6:45 AM, right when the beans were half ground. I grabbed the old blade grinder from the back of the cabinet and it turned my medium roast into dust in 4 seconds. Tasted like burnt dirt and I still drank the whole cup because I had to leave for work. Anyone else keep a junk backup that just makes things worse, or do you bite the bullet and buy a hand grinder?
