The electric kettle at my local library brews 212 degrees, and I tested it with a thermometer last Wednesday

I brought my own digital thermometer in my backpack and measured three cycles, and it hit exactly 212.0 every time, so has anyone else found a public kettle that's actually consistent or is mine just a weird unicorn?

Admit I always figured public kettles were set low to avoid liability, but your test actually makes me reconsider that assumption.
