Biodegradable comic bags turned into goo on a hot day.

My mint condition comics are now sun-kissed and sticky.

Oh wow, that's brutal! My friend Mike had a similar thing happen with his old X-Men comics. He left them in a box in his garage during a hot spell, and the bags just melted into a sticky mess. It was a real shame because some of those books were from when he was a kid. He spent hours slowly peeling the goo off, but a lot of the covers still have a weird shiny film on them now.
