Can we talk about how my longbox went from 4 short boxes to a full one in 5 months
So back in January I had my whole collection in 4 short boxes stacked in my closet in Denver. I told myself I was done buying singles for a while because I was running out of room and my pull list was getting out of hand. Then a buddy dragged me to a local shop's dollar bin sale and I walked out with 60 books for $30. After that it was like a switch flipped. I started hitting the same shop every Wednesday, digging through the bins, and by the end of March I had to buy my first longbox. Last weekend I finally sat down and realized that one longbox is now completely full, bags and boards and all, and I still have a stack of about 20 books sitting on my desk. The scary part is I can name every single run in there and I don't regret a single pickup. Anyone else have a collection that grew way faster than they planned after one innocent dollar bin trip?
