Had the best time at the local shop's fan appreciation day
They had a local artist doing free sketches and I got a really nice one of Nightwing. It was just cool to see so many people from different age groups all geeking out over the same stuff. What's the best fan event you've been to?

Was the artist using markers or pencils for your sketch, @victorb74? That old X-Men cartoon panel sounds incredible, I would've loved to hear those stories. Free art is always a win in my book, no question.

That sounds awesome. Free sketches from a local artist is a killer idea. My best was a small comic con about ten years ago. They had a panel with two guys who wrote for the old X-Men cartoon. Hearing them talk about the scripts was wild. What did the artist use for your Nightwing sketch, like markers or pencils?
