Trying to find a specific panel from a 90s X-Men comic took me three hours

I was sure it was in X-Men #30 from 1994, but I went through my whole long box twice and came up empty. Turns out the panel I was thinking of was from a different book in the same crossover, X-Force #32. One side says you should just know your collection, the other says digital search tools are a must for this exact problem. Has anyone else lost a whole night to a single image hunt?

What crossover was it? I swear half my collection is just 90s crossovers and I can never remember what happened in which tie-in.

Was it that weird one where Spider-Man fought Batman, or am I mixing up two different crossovers again lol

Exactly, crossovers are the worst for this. You'll remember a scene perfectly but have zero memory of which specific book it was in. I've spent way too long looking for a single Cable line that turned out to be in a "Web of Spider-Man" annual tied to an X-event.
