Vent: Picked the deluxe omnibus over the box set and now I'm committed
Tbh I had like $140 saved up for comics and stood in the shop aisle for 20 minutes trying to choose between the hardcover omnibus for a run I love or the full paperback box set of another story. I went with the omnibus because I like holding big books and the art looks better on that size page. But now I realize the box set was 12 issues for less money per issue and the omnibus only covers 8 issues for the same price. I still enjoy reading it but the math nags me every time I see the shelf. Has anyone else picked the fancy option and then regretted the cost per story later?
