Had a weird one with a server that kept dropping its RAID array every Tuesday
It was a Dell PowerEdge at a small law firm here in town. For three weeks straight, the array would fail around 2 PM, then come back after a reboot. I finally sat there with a monitoring tool and saw the office cleaning crew plug their floor buffer into the same circuit, causing a tiny voltage dip. Moved the server to a dedicated line and it's been solid for a month now. Anyone else run into a problem that was totally not the computer's fault?

Oh man, that's a classic. Had a similar thing where a desktop would blue screen every afternoon like clockwork. Drove me nuts for a week. Turns out the sun would hit the tower through a window and just slightly overheat one sensor. Moved it two feet and the problem was gone. Those environmental gremlins are the worst.

Wait, are you sure it was overheating? Blue screens from heat usually happen when the whole CPU or GPU gets too hot, not just one sensor. That afternoon timing could also be from a scheduled task or update messing with a driver.

Ugh, that sounds so frustrating to figure out.
