I just read that over 40% of consumer PC repairs in 2023 were for liquid damage, mostly from spilled drinks.
Saw this stat in a trade magazine summary. It made me realize how many of my own calls are for sticky keyboards and fried motherboards from coffee or soda. I've started keeping a big bottle of isopropyl and a ton of Q-tips in my kit as standard. What's your go-to method for dealing with a fresh spill before the customer brings it in?

That's a crazy high number, makes you wonder about cup holder sales. Heard the immediate power down and flip method is key, but does it really save the board?
