The tech who told me to stop using canned air was right, I owe him one

This older tech at my last gig in Austin kept saying canned air just pushes dust deeper into fans and PSUs. I figured it was fine, we all used it, whatever. He let me borrow his little electric blower for a job on a clogged gaming rig, and the amount of crud that came out was honestly gross. The machine ran 10 degrees cooler after and the fan noise dropped to nothing. I switched to a blower and a soft brush for all my cleanings now, and my callback rate has really dropped. Anyone else made the swap from canned air, or still sticking with it?
