Am I the only one who sees guys overworking their bleed on flatwork in Phoenix?
Did a 40 by 60 slab last Tuesday in Phoenix and watched a guy run his bull float over the same spot ten times past when the bleed water was gone. That shine on top means you are dragging cream, not sealing it, and it crazes within a month. I learned this watching a 20 year finisher pull off after just two passes and the slab cured cleaner than anything I had done. What is your go to sign that you have hit the sweet spot and should walk away?
