Had to pick between a fast pour and a slow one on a hot day in Phoenix
We had a big driveway job yesterday, temps hit 105. The crew wanted to rush the pour to beat the heat. I insisted on a slower, controlled pour with extra retarder in the mix. It added about 90 minutes to the setup, but we got a perfect finish with zero crazing. Anyone else had to make a call like that recently?

You waited an extra hour and a half in 105 degrees? Honestly, that takes some serious willpower. Tbh I would have caved and rushed it.
