PSA: That 1/8 inch dip in my slab took 6 hours to fix because I waited too long to trowel
I poured a 12x14 patio in Fresno last month and got pulled away for a phone call right after screeding. By the time I got back the bleed water was gone and the surface was too stiff to work, so I spent 6 hours grinding and patching instead of the 20 minutes a second pass with the float would have taken. How long do you all wait after screeding before that first trowel pass when it's 95 degrees out?
