That pour in the rain last Thursday was a total nightmare
We were finishing a driveway in Akron and a storm blew in way earlier than forecast. The rain washed out a whole section before we could get the plastic down, and we had to tear it out the next morning. Anyone have a good trick for getting a faster read on those pop-up summer storms?

Man, I gotta disagree about the forecast being wrong. Those summer pop-ups are always a gamble. I check the radar on my phone every hour when clouds build, not just the general forecast. Saw one rolling in near Dayton last week, got the plastic down with 20 minutes to spare. You gotta watch the sky, not just the weather app.

My husband's the same way with his garden in Avondale, always tracking storms on his phone. It feels like we're all becoming our own weather people now.
