Unpopular opinion: I think 50 pours a year is way overrated

I hit 50 commercial pours last year in Phoenix and honestly, it didn't feel like a big deal. Everyone talks about that number like it's some magic milestone, but my work quality actually dipped around pour 45 because I was rushing. I'd rather do 35 solid floors with perfect control joints than chase a number that means nothing to clients. What's a milestone you hit that actually disappointed you?

That "magic milestone" line hit home. I was in the same boat chasing numbers, then realized my joints were looking like trash around pour 30. Slowed way down, started saying no to jobs that didn't fit, and actually started liking my work again.

45 pours in Phoenix heat? That's straight up crazy talk.
