Update: Finished a 400-yard pour in Phoenix with zero honeycombing
It was 112 degrees out and the crew thought we were crazy to start at noon, but the mix was perfect and the vibrator guy, Luis, was on point. We hit the bull float and finished the whole slab before the sun went down. Has anyone else pulled off a big pour in extreme heat without a single cold joint?

@elizabethn56 That guy REALLY earned his cape for sure. @taylor668 I drove through Arizona last summer when it hit 118 and I thought MY truck was melting, so I can only imagine what he went through.
