Back in '08 I laughed at the HAARP stuff, now I'm not so sure

I remember sitting in my buddy's basement watching YouTube clips and thinking it was all just bad weather filming. Then I looked up the actual patents from the 90s that talk about controlling ionospheric patterns, and that changed my mind. Anybody else find a specific document that flipped their view on this?

Damn, that hits hard. Finding old patents like that is wild, makes you wonder what else is out there. I feel your pain though, it's a trip.
