Had a lightbulb moment about my lawnmower after it died mid-mow last Saturday

I was cutting the grass in the backyard, about halfway done, and the mower just sputters out and stops. Turned out the air filter was totally clogged with dust and grass clippings, something I never check. Spent 45 minutes cleaning it and replacing the spark plug before it would start again. What blew my mind is how simple maintenance can save you from buying a whole new machine, makes me wonder how much stuff gets thrown away for fixable problems. Has anyone else found a hidden issue that turned out to be a super easy fix?

Bro, you basically discovered the forbidden knowledge that keeps repair shops in business.

Same thing happened with my fridge, a $20 condenser brush saved me a service call.
