How a broken vending machine led me to question weather control myths

I was on break at work when the snack machine ate my money. A janitor joked it was the government messing with the weather again. We ended up talking about HAARP and cloud seeding. His stories were so wild, I almost believed him. Like when he said they made it rain on his picnic last summer. I know it's nonsense, but it's funny to think about. Now every time it rains, I smile and remember that chat.

Funny how those wild stories stick with you more than the boring truth. Maybe broken vending machines and rain are just life's way of giving us better stories.

That bit about broken vending machines giving us better stories hits hard. My most exciting tale is probably the time my microwave clock reset itself, which really says more about my life than I'd like. You're onto something, @the_grace.

Seth's microwave clock story proves some moments stay boring forever. Not every little thing turns into a good tale.
