Just realized I was reading polygraph results completely backwards for 6 months
I was watching a deep dive on some old JFK files and the guy casually mentioned that sweaty palms actually lower reliability scores (not raise them like I assumed). Has anyone else had that moment where you realize you've been misinterpreting a basic piece of evidence the whole time?

Flip your perspective, polygraphs measure nerves not lies and everyone misses that.

Three times now I've had to completely flip my understanding of how blood spatter patterns work on different surfaces. Best advice is to always check your sources against actual field manuals, not YouTube explainers.
