My neighbor's kid told me my tinfoil hat was 'doing it wrong' and honestly he had a point

He watched me folding it for like 10 minutes then said 'you gotta double layer the sides or the government lasers still get through.' I switched to his method and my headaches stopped. Anyone else get unsolicited tips from kids that actually worked?

Actually read a study recently about how kids process conspiracy logic differently than adults. They are more open to weird solutions because their brains haven't settled into the "this is how things work" pattern yet. The double layer thing is interesting too because some people online have tested it with actual radio frequencies. Single layer foil definitely can let certain wavelengths through depending on the angle. Not saying the government lasers part is real, but the physics of what blocks what might be partially right. Kids pick up bits of real information and mix it with their own logic, sometimes it accidentally works.

Respectfully disagree here. Kids are smart but they're not exactly tinfoil hat experts. I've been using the same single-layer method for years and my headaches stopped when I started drinking more water, not when I changed my hat folding technique. Honestly, the whole "government lasers" thing sounds like something a kid picked up from a YouTube video. Tbh, you might be giving that kid too much credit. Correlation doesn't mean causation, y'know?
