PSA: I spent 2 years believing the moon landing was faked because of a single YouTube video

Last Tuesday in Denver, I actually sat down and read the transcripts from the Apollo 11 mission at the library. That 5 hour session completely unraveled everything I thought I knew. Has anyone else had a moment where one piece of primary source evidence wrecked their whole theory?

My buddy found the same transcripts and it totally wrecked his moon landing skepticism too.

Funny how that works, right? One minute you're all in on the conspiracy, next minute you're reading transcripts and feeling like a real dummy. Guess I'll have to find a new rabbit hole to fall down now.

@alice_kim, I think the truth is somewhere in between. Once you look at the actual mission logs and scientific papers, the hoax theory just doesn't hold up. But it's good to have your eyes opened, even if it stings a bit.
