Rant: I called the JFK files a rabbit hole for 10 years, then I actually read the 2017 release
After digging through 3,000 pages from the National Archives last month, I saw enough cross-referenced memos to admit the CIA's own internal review contradicted the official story, so has anyone else changed their stance after sitting with the raw documents instead of headlines?

Man, I was the exact same way for years, I figured it was all just hype and recycled conspiracy stuff. But once I actually sat with those 2017 files and saw how the agency kept writing memos that contradicted each other, it really hit different. That internal review basically forced me to admit the official line had more holes in it than I ever gave it credit for.

totally get that feeling, @derekward. those memos are wild once you actually read them. guess the rabbit hole goes deeper than most folks wanna admit.
