Talked to my brother-in-law, a pilot, about chemtrails and he gave me a simple explanation.
He said the white lines are just water vapor from jet engines freezing in the cold air, and he drew me a diagram of how the exhaust mixes with the atmosphere. I always thought it was weird stuff being sprayed, but his breakdown made more sense than any video I'd seen. Has anyone else had a chat with someone in a specific field that cleared up a conspiracy for them?

Funny how often the simplest answer is the right one. It's easy to get caught up in wild theories online, but a quick talk with someone who actually knows the facts usually clears it up. Makes you wonder what else we overcomplicate.

So true, @mila_perry13, what's the biggest example you've seen?

Remember when everyone was sure that weird noise in the old house was ghosts? My buddy spent weeks researching paranormal activity. Turns out it was just a loose gutter bracket banging in the wind. I'm just as bad though, I once spent an hour trying to fix my wifi before I realized I'd bumped the power strip switch off.
