The ones out at Lake Wenatchee have that orange tint to their LEDs, real distinct from the white flash you get from deer cameras... someone pointed out how the park service models use a slower pulse too. It's like learning a secret code once you catch the rhythm of them blinking, makes spotting them way easier than hunting for a solid red glow.

What changed your mind about them? Honestly I used to think those things were just random but now I get how they light up differently at night.
