The chemtrail guy at the Flying J in Vegas actually made me check the sky

I stopped for fuel near the strip and this older fella pointed at the white lines behind a jet, said they were spraying stuff to test weather control. I laughed it off until I pulled up the pilot reports on my CB and saw two flights rerouted around the same patch of sky that day. Am I crazy for thinking there's something to the weather modification angle, or is that just coincidence?
