The grocery store near me changed overnight, and nobody can say why

I shop at the same Kroger on 4th Street every Tuesday. Six months ago the store remade their entire frozen food section, moved it from the back wall to the middle aisles, and suddenly all the store brand boxes vanished. Workers I asked just shrugged, one said corporate did it before dawn on a Monday. I got two different rumors online, one says it's about delivery trucks, the other says it's a data experiment to track what we buy. Has anyone else seen a store do this kind of sudden swap and actually find out the real reason?

Honestly, frozen food moving is barely a mystery, probably just cheaper rent for the aisle.
