Used to defend the moon landing being faked until I saw the actual footage in 8K on YouTube
I was deep into that rabbit hole for like 5 years... thought the lighting was off, shadows were wrong, all that stuff. Then a buddy linked me that restored Apollo 15 footage last December. Watched it frame by frame and the dust behavior alone wrecked my whole theory. Hard to argue with 60fps HD of boot prints in regolith. Anyone else had a core belief crumble after seeing raw evidence?

And that dust plume thing was what finally got me too, the way it behaves exactly right in a vacuum is impossible to fake convincingly even today.

Man oh man, @margaret_jackson73, you nailed it with that dust plume... I remember watching the Apollo 16 footage for the first time and just staring at how those little particles arced out and dropped back down so perfectly. It's wild that people still argue about it when the physics is right there in plain sight.

Ngl @sageross, that dust plume in Apollo 16 footage finally sealed it for me too. The way it kicked up and settled back down in perfect arcs with no air resistance is something CGI even today can't nail without looking off. They would have needed to simulate low gravity and vacuum physics down to the little particle details, and that just wasn't possible with 1960s tech.
