Foreman laughed at my laser level on day one, then borrowed it by week two
Started a steel framing gig near Austin last month and the foreman saw my green rotary laser, scoffed, said 'real men use string lines.' By the second week he was asking to borrow it to check the anchor bolt layout on slab B, and I just handed it over without a word. Anyone else watch old school guys flip once they see how fast a decent laser saves their ass?

Did he actually admit it was faster or did he just quietly keep borrowing it and never say anything? That silent handoff moment is kind of the best part, no words needed, the laser speaks for itself. I'm curious though, has he started asking about prices or specs yet? Usually once these old school guys get a taste they start doing their own research.
