Hot take: charging $50 for a 30 minute yoga class is a scam

I went to a studio in Austin last month and paid $50 for a 30 minute hot yoga session. The instructor spent the first 10 minutes talking about her chakras and then we did like 5 poses. I can do that in my living room for free. Yoga studios are just exploiting people who feel guilty about not exercising. Why do we accept paying more for an hour of yoga than a month of gym access?

The speaker volume thing is ridiculous. Hope you didn't pay for that nonsense.

My friend paid that much and the instructor spent half the time adjusting her speaker volume.
