Hot take: My best week ever was right after my worst day

Last March I got fired from my job at a coffee shop on 3rd Street for accidentally spilling a whole pitcher of cold brew on a customer's laptop. I thought my life was over lol. But that same week I got a call from a bakery about a position I'd applied to months before, and they offered me $18 an hour with better hours. So was getting fired actually the best thing that happened to me that week or was it just dumb luck? Anyone else have a turn around like that?

You said "I thought my life was over lol" and honestly same energy. I once got dumped on a Tuesday then my car broke down Wednesday, but that Friday I found $40 in an old jacket pocket so I guess it balanced out. Life's weird like that.

You ever notice how the universe throws you a curveball just to hand you a five dollar bill the next day? That $40 jacket find is like a sign from above saying "I see you struggling, here's some gas money." I swear bad luck always comes in pairs but then something small and random makes you think maybe it's not all that bad.
