I worked 60 hours last week and got less done than a normal 40 hour week

Last month I took on a big commercial job that needed done in 10 days, so I put in 12 hour days for almost a week straight. By day 4 I was making stupid mistakes like wiring a three-way switch wrong and had to redo it. Am I the only one who hits a wall where more hours just makes your work worse instead of better?

Did the client actually notice the mistakes or was it just you being hard on yourself?
