My uncle swore in 2021 that buying anything used was a scam, then he bought a $400 mower off a guy in Peoria
Three years ago my uncle would not touch anything secondhand, not even a book, because he got burned once on a truck in 2019 and never let it go. Last month his $600 riding mower died and he found the same model on Marketplace for $400 from a guy in Peoria, and he drove out there same day. He came back saying the thing runs better than his old one and the seller even threw in a spare blade. Now he texts me every garage sale listing in a 20 mile radius like he invented the whole idea. So where do you all draw the line on used stuff, is there anything you still refuse to buy secondhand no matter the deal?
