Switched to a 5-minute morning timer and it fixed my procrastination
I used to waste like 30 minutes just staring at my to-do list before starting anything. Tried that trick where you set a timer for 5 minutes and commit to only doing the task for that long. Worked way better than I expected at my desk in Austin. Has anyone else found a stupid simple hack that actually broke their procrastination habit?

16 years selling used cars taught me that the hardest part of any job is just getting your hand on the doorknob.

Kevin's right about that... I do the same thing where I tell myself I'll just open the doc and close it, and next thing I know I'm an hour into the work.
