Walked into a McDonald's in Tokyo and saw a lobster burger on the menu

I was in Shinjuku last week grabbing a quick bite and they had a whole section for seasonal seafood burgers. Lobster and shrimp patty for like $8. Why can't we get stuff like this in the US instead of the same McChicken we've had for 40 years? Has anyone else seen wild menu items abroad that make our options feel boring?

Loved getting a teriyaki burger in Japan way more than I expected.

Dude my buddy Steve went to a KFC in Bangkok and they had like a whole fried fish on a platter with rice and soup. He sent me a pic of it and it looked insane. Like a whole tilapia sitting there staring at you while you eat. Meanwhile our KFC is still just buckets of the same dry chicken from 1985.

My buddy brought back a menu from a Korean Burger King where they had a bulgogi burger with a hash brown inside it. I mean why are we not doing this? Anyway @alicew68 you would probably love the teriyaki ones there too, I tried a similar one at a convenience store in Osaka and it was somehow better than anything I've had from a drive-thru here. It's like other countries just decided to have fun with fast food while we're stuck in 1987.
