Showerthought: everyone says a baking fail ruins your day, but the week I made 4 bad cakes in a row on purpose taught me more than any perfect one
After my first cake sank in the middle last month I just kept going and made the same recipe 4 more times in 5 days, each one worse than the last, and somewhere around batch 3 I finally figured out I was opening the oven door too early. Has anyone else learned more from a whole bad week than from one good bake?
