Frozen veggie odds and ends: soup or stir fry, which wins for cleaning out the fridge?
Honestly, I've been testing both with the same sad bag of carrots and half a bell pepper. Soup stretches further for 3 meals but stir fry tastes better with the leftover rice. Anyone else find one approach just works better for their weekly cleanup?

Aw man, I've been in this exact spot more times than I can count. Soup is the smart play for stretching those sad veggies, but stir fry wins on flavor every single time. My trick is to roast the odds and ends with oil and salt first, then toss them into the stir fry so they actually taste like something instead of just being boiled mush. Do you keep a bag in the freezer for this or are you working with fresh scraps?

Three bags, and my wife still gives me the side eye every time I pull another one out. She says we're one zucchini away from a hoarder situation, but honestly those freezer scraps have saved dinner more times than I can count.
