My 47th leftover experiment finally used that mystery jar

I had this unlabeled jar of orange sauce in the back of my fridge since last November, and my 47th 'use it or curse it' night got me brave enough to dump it over some sad leftover rice and beans. Turned out to be some kind of spicy mango glaze, and my roommate in Tulsa called it 'the best thing I've ever made with garbage.' Has anyone else finally cracked open that weird condiment and landed on gold, or am I just lucky this time?

Ever notice how mystery condiments are either a total win or a 30 minute crying session over the sink? My record is a jar of what I thought was pesto but turned out to be some weird herby mayo from a barbecue place, slapped it on a sad grilled cheese and honestly it changed my life for like a week. Then I found the actual pesto and realized I'd been eating fancy ranch the whole time. So yeah, you got lucky, but I bet your next mystery jar is gonna be something like expired tzatziki that tastes like feet. Keep risking it though, that's the real adventure.
