Can we talk about taking the cheap option for a haircut?

I had a choice last month. $60 at my usual salon or $20 at the chain place down the street in Denver. Picked the cheap one. She cut one side shorter than the other. Looked like a stack of paper. Had to go back to my regular girl and pay $45 to fix it. Anyone else learn this lesson the hard way?

Did you walk out looking like you let a blindfolded toddler have a go with the clippers? Honestly, I tried the cheap route once and ended up with a mullet situation that wasn't even ironic. Ngl, sometimes paying a little more is just buying peace of mind from a mirror crisis.

That's wild, did you at least get a photo of the mullet before you fixed it? I remember one time I tried to save cash by going to this barber who worked out of his garage, lol. He kept stopping to watch a game on his little TV and I ended up with one sideburn way higher than the other. Looked like I was trying to start a trend or something, not a good look. Learned my lesson though, now I just bring a picture and hope for the best.
