Found starting with simple braids helped me get over the updo fear. Now a messy bun feels like a legit hairstyle instead of a last resort. What was the first updo you tried that didn't feel like a total disaster?

But aren't updos kinda casual sometimes too...? I mean, I wear them for lazy days just as much as for fancy stuff. Glad you're into them now though.

Totally! The messy bun is basically my uniform for errands. It counts as fancy if you own it.
