I used to think those little face rollers were just a gimmick, but my client in Denver changed my mind.

My sister in Phoenix gave me a jade roller two years ago and I barely touched it. It just sat in my drawer. Then I visited her last summer, and my skin felt so tight and thirsty from the dry heat. She made me use it with a hyaluronic acid serum every night. After three days, my skin actually felt plump and calm for the first time all trip. I had to eat my words and start using mine back home.

The high altitude in Denver can really dry out your skin. A roller with the right serum might just help products sink in better there than in humid places. It's less about the tool itself and more about how it works with the local climate.

Laugh out loud - I bought a rose quartz roller during a layover in Denver and forgot about it for months, then finally dug it out during a dry winter and it was a total game changer. @ben206 is exactly right about the altitude thing, my skin was so thirsty up there I think the roller was just giving my serums a fighting chance to actually soak in. Still can't bring myself to buy the fancy refrigerated one though, my regular roller and some icy water does the trick just fine.
