Just realized how many people are asking for curtain bangs after a trip to Portland

I was visiting my cousin in Portland last month and we went to a few coffee shops downtown. I swear, at every single table I saw at least one person with those wispy, face-framing curtain bangs. It wasn't just young people either, I saw women in their 40s and 50s rocking them. It made me think about how a local trend can spread so fast through social media pictures. Are you guys getting a ton of requests for this cut lately, or is it just a Portland thing?

Portland might have a lot of them, but that cut is everywhere now, not just there. It's been a huge trend for a couple years already. My shop is in a totally different state and we still get multiple requests a week. It's not a local fad spreading, it's a standard style that's just popular with a wide age group. You probably noticed it more because you were looking for it in a new place.

Exactly, it's a baseline cut now. The key is having a clear photo for reference, since "wolf cut" can mean very different things to different people. Some clients want a lot of shaggy layers, others just want slight texture around the face. A good picture saves everyone time.

Could it be a local trend that's just now hitting its peak there?
