PSA: A simple color correction on a friend's hair took me two full days.
She wanted to go from a box black to a warm brown, said it would be easy. I started with a color remover, but it only lifted to a weird orange. Then I had to use a filler, but I picked the wrong tone and it went muddy. After that, I did two more rounds of color to get it right. What should have been a four hour job turned into a weekend project. Has anyone else had a filler color go totally wrong on them?

My friend had a similar filler disaster trying to fix a green tint. It pulled way too red and turned her hair this weird rust color for weeks. Those corrective tones are so tricky to get right.

Reminds me how often fixing one problem just creates another, lol.

Tell me about it. I tried fixing some greenish ends with a red filler once and it went full-on cherry Kool-Aid. It was so bright it looked fake. I had to wait a full month for it to fade enough to even try fixing it again. Color correction is basically just guessing and hoping you don't make a bigger mess.
