PSA: Found out my sectioning clips were rusting from cheap spray bottles
I was at a client's house last week and noticed orange specks in her hair, traced it back to old metal clips I'd been using for months. Has anyone else dealt with cheap bottle misters reacting with your tools?

Yeah that mist gets everywhere. I found rust on my shears once from a nearby humidifier.

Wait yeah @murphy.barbara its from the cheap spray nozzles that spray a super fine mist. The mist gets everywhere and settles on the metal parts of the clips, then the moisture just sits there and causes little rust spots over time. I had the same thing happen with some clips I kept in a drawer near where I mix my color, the spray from my bottles got on them and they started getting those orange specks. Its not the clips themselves that are bad, its just that the cheap bottle sprayers atomize the water too finely and it drifts onto everything nearby.
