Rant: A client's friend critiqued my blending technique mid-highlight

I was doing highlights yesterday, and my client's friend just walked over and pointed out a spot she thought was uneven. It was super awkward because we were in the middle of processing. I checked it under better light and fixed it, but it made me realize how important it is to communicate each step. Now I explain what I'm doing as I go to avoid any surprises.

Question if it's that serious.

What makes you think it isn't serious? Sometimes small issues are signs of bigger problems. That's why people are making a fuss about it.

Remember when Target had that huge data breach a few years back? They first ignored alerts about weird network activity. That small tech glitch turned into 40 million stolen credit card numbers. So when you say it's a sign of bigger problems, what exactly are you worried will happen here? Like, are you seeing a specific pattern that points to a major crash or just general sloppy work?
