That $150 hair dryer I bought 5 years ago is still going strong

Honestly, I dropped $150 on a high-end hair dryer back in 2019 at a beauty supply in Austin, and it's been through hundreds of blowouts without a hiccup. A client last week told me her cheap drugstore one died after 6 months, so I'm wondering if spending more upfront actually saves money in the long run. Has anyone else had a tool last way longer than you expected?

3M is actually great about warranty replacements. Just a heads up though @danielmason you gotta register the product within 30 days or they won't honor it.
