That Monday morning perm that turned into a frizz nightmare

I took on a last-minute perm for a regular client at my chair in Cleveland back in 2018. The solution sat two minutes too long because I got distracted by a noisy walk-in, and it left her hair a dry, tangled mess. Had to spend the next hour doing a deep conditioning treatment and re-wetting everything before it looked half decent. Anyone else had a perm go wrong from a simple timing slip?

Watched a coworker leave a perm solution on a client for 15 minutes once while she took a personal call. The poor girl looked like a startled poodle for three weeks.
