Why does nobody talk about pH strips for toner tests?
I was mixing up a custom toner for a client in Denver yesterday and my trusted formula suddenly turned cloudy, so I grabbed some cheap pH strips from the supply store. Turns out our distilled water batch was reading at 8.2, way too alkaline for the citric acid I added, and it fixed the whole thing in under a minute. Has anyone else run into water quality issues messing with their mix, or is this just a random fluke?
