Am I the only one who spent years leveling with the wrong side of the bubble?
About three months back I was on a job in Cleveland setting a 110 ton crawler on a slab and this old timer walks up and says I'm reading the level backwards. Turns out I had been using the vial upside down for like 5 years and nobody ever corrected me. All my picks probably had a slight tilt and I never even knew. Has anyone else had a boss or coworker call out something dumb you were doing forever?

Man that old timer must have had a good laugh seeing me on that slab. I still think about all those picks where I was probably crooked and nobody said a word for years. Makes me wonder how many other things I'm doing wrong that people just let slide. At least now I double check the bubble like a paranoid person every single lift. The best part is my foreman still gives me a hard time about it every chance he gets.
