Been seeing a lot more chatter about knee health from guys who run cranes all day.

Knee problems seem common for crane guys because of all the climbing and awkward positions. I saw a thing online saying that repetitive stress on joints from ladder work is a big deal. It makes sense to talk about it more since it's a real job hazard.

The constant shaking from operating the crane might hurt knees as much as climbing does. That subtle jolting every day can grind down joint cartilage over time. It's a less obvious risk that should be part of the safety conversation too.

Man, you're totally right about that vibration mess. I watched my buddy's knees go from fine to shot over two years running a tower crane. What helped him was getting one of those thick anti-fatigue mats for the cab floor, it cuts down on the direct jolt. Stretching before and after the shift became non-negotious too, just simple stuff to keep the joints loose. It's one of those things nobody tells you about until you're already feeling it.
